OpenPBS Version 22.05.11 Introduces Date-Based Versioning and New Features
OpenPBS has released version 22.05.11, which marks its switch to date-based versioning. Users can now build their own versions while maintaining consistent versioning for their build. This latest version includes new hook events, support for Nvidia A100 GPUs and Rocky Linux and Ubuntu 20, as well as bug fixes and refactoring of the code. New Versioning System
You will notice that this is a new versioning system. We have moved to a date-based versioning system for OpenPBS builds. This makes it easier for users to build their own versions while maintaining consistent versioning for their build.
Changes Since Last Release
There have been over 500 changes to OpenPBS since the last release:
- New hook events
- Management event - Any set/unset by qmgr
- Modify vnode event
- Job obit event
- Reservation Begin event
- Reservation confirm event
- Modify Reservation event
- Support for Nvidia A100 GPUs
